Has it ground to a halt here?

It just seems like everyday I come to check out the forums here nothing new has happened. No new posts, no users online etc. Is it cuz of school and college being back or just not enough happening i.e. contests and packs and such? I had a look through the members list and it seems like theres quite a few great artists here. A few already known (atleast to me) and a few with great potential. Would be a shame to stop now. I know school and college is a big reason for this but for the "half unemployed workin shmo" with evenings and a few days extra free to browse and work on new stuff (such as myself) it seems a shame. I definitely learned alot since this site started.
Well, I'm off to get recruitin'. Know of a few that would probably get on pretty well here.

I run 120 miles a week, Full time college and have maybe 3 hours at home not counting sleeping a day not to mention web designing on freelance spec.... Somehow I manage to make it on every day unless there's just somethign huge that day and I crash.

Can make it on, yes. Can do much else, not right now, no. My move, work, and school are conspiring against my free time. Lots of decent ideas, no time to even start implementing them.
I wish we had a direct brain-to-computer interface so I could upload what I see. That'd make things easier.

That would be quite sweet. Not only for the speed and ease but it would be exact representations. Although i think the fun would suffer.
I find I'm actually quite busy too. Which baffles me because I work 2 days less each week than normal but life seems to just steal my time just when I think I'll get a chance to sit down and work on some new stuff. Maybe the recession has crept over creativity too. Creative recession. What a dreadful concept.

I think a contest is in order. A pack would exclude us over-active non-artists. Or am I the only one? Plus I'm still a bit intimidated by Space Art contests on dA and I know many others are. Find it more friendly here to be honest. More helpful too.

I'm surprised someone reads all of that, I put things like that in the agreement all the time.

And Saturn has such little mass that it would float on a pool of water.

Yes. And if you took a a tablespoon of neutron star, it would weigh as much as every human on the planet.

What an anti-climax that mission to find water on the moon today, huh? When they neglected to say whether or not they'd found water that's as good as saying they found diddly-squat
